Tips to Uncover Funds
- In addition to their yearly grants, many agencies also have disaster-specific supplemental funds available.
- While it is not usually recommended to request more than an organization's normal grant range, these are unusual times and some organizations might be willing to go above and beyond their normal giving. Call the organization to inquire about their current limitations.
- Contact program or grant specialists directly prior to creating lengthy proposals.
- Remember that foundations, public charities, nonprofit and faith-based organizations exist to be helpful.
