Snyder Fellowship Applications Accepted at Two Rivers Regional Council through June 30 – Muddy River News

QUINCY — Applications for the Frances L. Snyder Memorial Scholarship are being accepted at Two Rivers Regional Council through June 30.

A $1,250 scholarship is available in each of Adams, Brown, Pike, and Schuyler counties. The scholarships are for income-eligible residents accepted into an accredited Illinois educational institution. They can be applied to tuition, fees, books, supplies, lab fees, room and board and are payable at the institution.

The gross income of all family members must be equal to or less than 200% of the poverty line as established by Health and Social Services. Applications will be reviewed and ranked by Community Action Board members for their respective counties.

Snyder, known as “Frannie” to her colleagues, was well known to the families, seniors, youth and needy people of Adams County who came to the Two Rivers Regional Council asking for help. She has been an asset to Two Rivers Regional Council in her more than 20 years working with the agency.
