CHARLESTON, West Virginia – Governor Jim Justice signed today SB 250the $4.635 billion budget for fiscal year 2023 that was passed by the West Virginia Legislature on Saturday, March 12.
The only change made to the budget bill was a veto on one position.

The Governor of Justice also signed the following Supplementary Appropriation Bills:
- 528: Supplementing and Amending DHHR Appropriations, Consolidated Medical Services Fund
- 624: Creation of an additional credit to DHHR, Division of Health, Laboratory Services
- 633: Supplementing and Amending DHHR Appropriations, Consolidated Medical Services Fund
- 634: Allocation of additional appropriation to DHHR, Division of Health – Hospital Services Revenue Account Special Fund Capital Improvement, Renovation and Operations
- 715: Decrease and increase in existing appropriations of the State Fund, General Revenue
- 716: Supplemental Credit to DOE, WV BOE, Strategic Staff Development
- 717: Additional Credit for Miscellaneous Boards and Commissions, Board of Medicine, Board of Medical Licensing
- 718: Additional Credit to Department of Administration, Travel Management, Aviation Fund
- 719: Additional credit to DHS, Fire Commission, at Fire Marshal’s expense
- 720: Supplementing and Amending Executive Branch, Governor’s Office, Civil Provident Fund Appropriations
- 722: Expiry of Funds at DEP, Environmental Protection Division, Abandoned and Dilapidated Assets Reclamation Program Fund
- 723: Creation of an additional credit to the Ministry of Agriculture, WV Spay Neuter Assistance Fund
- 724: Creation of an additional credit to DHS, Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation, Regional Authority of Prisons and Correctional Facilities
- 725: Complete and Edit DHS Credits, WV State Police
- 731: Opening of an additional credit to the Ministry of Tourism, Tourism Workforce Development Fund
- 732: Creation of an additional credit to the Hospital Financial Authority, Hospital Financial Authority Fund
- 733: Supplementing and Amending Executive Appropriations, Office of the Governor
Govt. Justice signed the following supplementary appropriations bill, but vetoed a technical item:
- 625: Creation of an additional credit to DHHR, Health Division, Vital Statistics Account
